4/5 - Very Good

Heat: Hot

The term "picante sauce" derives from the original Pace Picante Sauce (source: wikipedia salsa). This version of picante sauce, from Joe T. Garcia's (www.joets.com) in Fort Worth, Texas features small chunks of juicy tomato and onion with a good sting from jalapenos. This salsa is on the salty side with 200mg sodium per 2 Tbsp. With many bottled salsas, the ingredients tend to merge into a overall flavor or texture. Garcia's keeps the tomato, onion, and peppers well balanced without overprocessing. No artificial ingredients.

I used to live in Dallas, near Fort Worth, and this was by far the best bottled
salsa you cold find anywhere. Since then, I've lived in New York and Colorado,
and I have a case of it shipped to the home about every 4 months.

A must try.
